Llyne is a Welsh name, pronounced something like "thlin". It means "lake". It's a de-Anglicized version of my given middle name.
AKA:
My birth certificate lists Jennifer Lynn Burton as my original given name. I primarily used the variation Jen Llyne Burton ~1992-2004, increasingly phasing into Llyne Burton in more aspects of my life. After my marriage in 2006, I went through the formal legal procedure to change it to Llyne Burton Foy.
