Owner Info: Ms. Vazquez is currently the President and CEO of Ling Enterprises, LLC and possesses nine (9) years of experience in the legal industry, including corporate law, social security, general/commercial litigation and collections. Ms. Vazquez most recent role was as a corporate paralegal in Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Atlanta Office. Her role focused on providing support to several partners and associates in the corporate finance and transactional practice group. Among other things, Ms. Vazquez primarily assisted with general entity formation, due diligence, multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions, and real estate purchases. She is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish fluently. Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Ms. Vazquez worked as the in-house paralegal for Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc.’s first in-house General Counsel and was an intricate part of the development and implementation of the foundation of the company’s legal department. In her experience, she has developed training and reference guides outlining roles, responsibilities and procedures of the caseworker and paralegal positions for: Binder & Binder, Marlin Leasing Corporation and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. Ms. Vazquez served as the 2008 Chair of the Gate City Bar Association’s Paralegal Section (“GCB Paralegals”) where she worked extensively with charitable and not-for-profit organizations. Through its team of leadership in 2008, the organization received local and national recognition, more than tripled its membership and has at least five (5) annual events including educational seminars. Due to her deep reach within the Atlanta legal community, Ms. Vazquez has been nationally recognized as a paralegal leader by both KNOW, the magazine for paralegals, published by Estrin Education, and ParalegalGateway.com, the world’s largest paralegal community website that publishes monthly newsletters and an annual Paralegal Superstars calendar.
