Born and raised in Detroit Mich. until age 17 when I moved to Dalton Ga. with my family. Finished high school there but went most of my High School years in Detroit at Cass Tech. Started Pastoring the church my Dad started at age 28. I have 3 children; Ben Jr. (born in '78), Daniel (born in '80), and April (born in '82). I have 8 grandchildren ranging in ages 17 to 1 1/2 years of age (2 boys and 6 girls). Worked at Texture Tex for 18 years and then went to work for Shaw Ind. in '93. Married Ilene in 1977 on June 25th.
