This office was appointed by the Santa Cruz County Superior Court, to represent our client the defendant, on a pending criminal matter. The attorney, who represents the defendant has requested that I speak with you regarding the incident that occurred. I understand that you may have already spoken with the police on at least one occasion. However, as we are now closer to a court date, it is important for us to interview you as well. The interview should not take very long to complete and it would be very helpful to hear your perspective about the events that have occurred.
