I am a happily married man to my beautiful, intelligent, kind and devoted wife, who is an incredible human being. I have two amazing daughters who know how to stand on their own two feet and am proud of my family, their beliefs, opinions and accomplishments. My career as a Registered Nurse has allowed me the opportunity to offer help to those in need, which has benefited me and made me strong in the face of adversity. I have faith in the Lord and in humanity and try to listen to my heart while being guided by knowledge and intellect. In all things, I seek the beauty of life, but am aware of its perils. I will help you if you need help but not at the expense of enabling dependence. I will be there for you and will offer my hand to those who reach out. My hope is that in my short time on this earth, I can stand against injustice and earn wisdom through a dedicated pursuit of knowledge and action. I truly believe that faith without works is dead and that you should love your neighbors as you love yourself. That you should do unto others as you would have them do unto you, not how they actually do at times. You should love for the sake of being loving, give for the sake of giving and not expect to be respected unless you first lead by showing respect. I tend to be actively bi-partisan and have strong political views regarding the need for laws to align with ethics, morality and common sense. We all have the right to retain dignity. I understand scientific principles and seek to unravel the great mysteries of life and universe. I look to God for answers and know he watches over me. As your friend, I will stand with you, if you stand in accordance with morality. As an adversary, you better be prepared for the fight of your life. I believe that all men (meaning all human beings) are created equal, and that we have the responsibility to each other to preserve the depth of that equality for all creatures great and small. I am an art historian & artist, opal gem cutter (lapidary), jewelry designer, martial artist, scientist, medical professional and oh yes, I love my dogs and pretty much all animals....except tics... can't stand those tiny headed little monsters! If you want to get to know me, just talk with me. I enjoy writing and feel it is my duty to communicate objectives and thoughts clearly. I love to travel and experience the cultures and places in the world to broaden my horizons. I will share what I have because you can't take it with you. I enjoy inventing, hiking, camping and keeping this body and mind in motion. I hope to be inspirational and am devoted to the cause of the just. I try to live in the moment because tomorrow is an assumption and you cannot go back.
