I'm still happily married to my FIRST wife, Sherry Spurgin Viertel. We are both retired school teachers enjoying our ranch which is located between Albany and Moran, Texas. We love our three children, their spouses and 6 grandchildren. My parents have bred into me and my siblings a love for music and worship, which I try to lead at my church with the help of my son, Kenz and many other wonderful friends. I am the most grateful to the Lord, Jesus Christ for loving someone like me enough to die for MY sin. I hope to bring Him glory in my life.
