About

I have had an incredible life. I have had more amazing and unusual experiences than I could have ever expected to have in one lifetime. I am thankful for all I have experienced and learned. I have owned my own insurance agency, worked with the handicapped, been the human resource manager for a home builder, and am currently a teacher. My favorite adventure was the pursuit of my second masters degree in Middle Eastern History. In the fall, I look forward to starting my doctorate in Jewish Studies. My oldest son, Lawrence served in the NAVY as a "Nuke" on a submarine. Now he is finishing his studies in nuclear engineering. He is dating the wonderful and lovely Sarah. Matthew served homeless Russian Jews in Israel and met his lovely bride, Tamzin. Today they live in South Africa and are expecting their first child. Matthew is studying electrical engineering. Amy worked as a math teacher in the Creighton School District. She has decided to go to graduate school at ASU and study civil engineering and Hebrew. Michael studied space physics at Embry-Riddle and is currently taking the math actuary exam. He is looking forward to working as an actuary. My dog, Ivrit, is the perfect dog except for being afraid of other dogs. So we adopted Sarge and Rupert, born 8-26-1009, for her to raise. It took a village to raise the pups. All of us were busy giving the boys dog formula. Ivrit, a structural engineer, in her own right, quickly fashioned an underground doggy den in the backyard, and spent her time, capturing escaping pups and rolling them like bowling balls back to the den.

Favorite saying

  • "Taylor Caldwell - A man should never say, "Oh pity me, for I am a poor soul and the victim of my fate! Or of Society!" No a real man says, "This is where I am, but I need not stay in the gutter. It is my duty to change what is evil or intolerable in my life. I was given the strength to choose my way, and I will choose it. To do less is to degrade myself by own self!""
