About

After graduating from Citadel Bible College, I spent 3 years in south Louisiana teaching in a small Christian school. Then the next 10 with New Tribes Mission teaching in the Ivory Coast, West Africa. My mom's health was getting bad and they needed help in their photography studio so I decided to stay and help them. I met Mike, who had the two older kids from a previous marriage. His wife had died in 1992. I don't believe in "step-children, -parents" so when I married Mike, I also gained two children. Our daughter made some poor choices and got pregnant. Thankfully, she chose to have the baby and we became grandparents to a beautiful little girl. After 3 miscarriages in 6 years, God blessed us with a beautiful baby boy who will be 1 year old next week. We live on the property of the church where Mike is the pastor. And we have a small farm which contains goats, chickens, dogs, cats and a small garden.
