At the age of 12 years old while being involved in a school stock project, he knew that he would one day work on Wall Street. After growing up in a rural community of the San Joaquin Valley (Delano California) he went forward to pursue his education at UCLA where he majored in Mathematics/Economics!From there he went full time into the Investment Business! Carlton started off in the Industry working at Dean Witter Morgan Stanley. It was there that he worked under the infamous trader Daoud Mshaka! He soon became an avid Equity Trader and built a very large book of business. Word traveled throughout the banking world quickly of his expertise and he was soon recruited by Prudential Securities! As an Associate Vice President of Investments with Prudential Securities, Carlton expanded his trading to include Debt Instrument and Risk Management. His investment style of preservation first and cash flow second gained him notoriety among many surgeons in Orange County. It was during this time that Carlton was chosen to represent Prudential Securities in conducting Financial Planning workshops for National Basketball Association! He performed workshop to over 160 NBA Players around the country. He also was asked to attend and assist in workshops given to the NBA Retired Players in the Bahamas. Carlton also worked as a Vice President for Wachovia Securities and Financial Advisor for AXA Advisors. After 15 years on Wall Street Carlton became disillusion with the Wall Street Theme! He noticed that the Broker Dealers, Banks, Insurance Companies and Finance Companies were all getting rich while the average client was constantly losing Net Worth. He decided he wanted to bridge the gap between the Investors and Financial companies and create a company that would have a “Win-Win” approach toward Financial Services and Investments! It was out of this ideal that One Stop Financial was formed. Carlton quickly developed a process that individuals and businesses could follow to simplify growing and maintaining wealth.
