No one really knows who they are or who they truly want to be. I know who I would like to try to be in my life, and I know how others perceive me to be now. I want to make different choices in my life that those around me didn't make, and be my own person despite the surrounding influences I was raised with. Perhaps changing who I am for me, and not for others will make people see that I am me, and not the person they have convinced themselves into thinking I am to better how they feel about their own behaviors. It's important to be who you are, and to find that out as independently as you possibly can. Life is full of influences and mass ideals, but putting those things aside, you can really find the person you are. I've yet to truly find myself. But for now, I am simply a chubby young woman enjoys crafts and singing (poorly).
