About

Whats important to me: - Relationship with God through Jesus Christ is my top priority in life and ministry. So many times as Christians we get all caught up in all kinds of issues and are so quick to forget that real lasting change in ours or anyone's life come's though Christ. If we could be perfect on our own power Christ died for nothing and we make God out to be a liar. I find as with friendships and relationships with people if we know something we do really bugs someone we love we generally try to change that habit and this same goes with God the more we seek and study and get to know Him we change out of love and desire to please Him and not out of a religious obligation. - Relationships with others is of vital importance. As a loner personality I struggle with this one I must confess but second to Loving God with all we are the most important commandment to Jesus was love your neighbor as yourself. So for me that means trying to be a friend to everyone as best I can and doing all that's in my power to make things right when I fail at it. Lord know I still have a long way to go but I will always try. - Everything we have in our lives can be used as a tool for the work of Christ. I am really seeking God these days as to how to break out of the typical ministry mold and use the gifts of every person for the ministry in and out of the church. If your a gamer like me use that as a bonding point with friends to open the door to talk about life and bring it to Christ. We have opportunities with Facebook to entourage or even just know how to pray for people. We can use blogs for sermons and really if we get creative as Christians and let the Holy Spirit move in all we do there is no limit to the impact we can have on this world. - Last I want to see Christians that understand that we are a body of many parts all working for the same goal. I am not against denominations just the battles between them. As believers we all have a role to play and our vision for what is important and what drives us will differ with how God is using us. A Evangelical is strong in scripture but sometimes weak with people, a more liberal church can be stronger on loving the neighbor but weaker on the percepts of God, a Pentecostal can be Strong in spiritual gifts and the working of the spirit but weak on scriptural application. If we can work together in the name of Christ and learn from each other we can be balanced in our faith. So let all who believe in the name of Christ work as one body for God's glory. A Little History: I am a survivor of a man intent on taking my life. He came quite close once but by God I was saved from myself. And by God and the loving family and friends I have come to see the great privilege this life is. God could have let me take my life but He saved me for a purpose. Though I still don't know all of what that entails I know I live to do His will and seek first the kingdom of God. Its not an easy road and I have been far from perfect in walking it but the cool thing about God is he has this habit of making His perfect will happen through imperfect people and situations. I would not be as driven a Christian as I am today without my battles with suicide and depression as a teen and God showing His love for me as an individual in the mist of it.

Matt 22:36-40 "You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life."
