Salcedo Brothers (Hugo, Braulio, Diego) and Sister (Andrea) began playing together six years ago at their Mexican hometown Ciudad Guzman, quickly gaining the accolades from audiences and music community as they traveled throughout their state as part of the Jalisco’s Secretary of Culture Artistic Catalogue. The band is currently based at the Chicagoland’s Area where they are continuing their musical venture and continuously performing at festivals, community and private events. Embracing both traditional and contemporary, their style is a fusion of classic and modern music elements, combined at the beat of world and latin american percussions along the strumming and passionate sounds of the flamenco guitar. El Grupo Hermanos Salcedo está formado por Andrea, Braulio, Diego y Héctor Hugo. Originarios de Cd. Guzmán, Mpio. de Zapotlán el Grande, Jalisco, México. Jóvenes exponentes del folclore, interpretan instrumentalmente el repertorio de la Música Tradicional Mexicana, en un concepto muy contemporáneo, fusionando lo tradicional con la guitarra flamenca y eléctrica, bajo y percusiones afro-caribeñas, logrando unificar sus raíces y sus gustos musicales. Con 6 años de trayectoria profesional y más de 100 conciertos, estos jóvenes trabajan en pro de su comunidad, exaltando la riqueza, diversidad y belleza de la Cultura Mexicana. En el 2005 viajan a la ciudad de Chicago en los Estados Unidos, donde actualmente radican, con el propósito de seguir preparándose y desarrollándose profesionalmente.
