About

Loving people and making a difference in my spere of influence is my aim. We were all born for a purpose, to fulfill a purpose in life. I thank God through Jesus Christ for delivering me, for keeping me. I endeavor to keep the faith, to love the brethern, to supply my measure to the body of Christ and to those I serve in my professional life. Nothing is more refreshing to me as seeing someone give their life to the Lord. Secondly, I get a big rush from helping others to see their full potential, to see them "make it," or come to the place where they believe "they can succeed." I am not so much engrossed in politics because I know we have a right to participate in our democracy but a quote from the scriptures is very real to me: "The heavens do rule." Thusly, ...the authorities that are set in the earth are set to fulfill God's purpose, whether or not we agree or disagree with their platforms. My belief is that we pray that everyone involved in government gives God a right response- whether that is running for an office, voting, giving financial support, or praying God's will. Finally, of late, it has bothered me that while many of us are out trying to become wealth or rich, many of our youth are feeling isolated, misunderstood, and lonely even in the midst of their much laughter. Our young men, in middle and high school, are in dire need of MALE AFRICAN AMERICAN role models and leaders to capture their attention to help to shape a very different tomorrow for them, something beyond "boo C" and "Lil W." Something beyond street life and thug life. We have a people to cultivate. If our men are not on board with a realistic plan on how to survive a hard future (spiritually, economically, and socially), what are we as a people to do? We need our men to be lifted up, motivated, and purpose driven. If we plan, participate in the plan, and collaborate with each other on a shared focus for our betterment, we will succeed! We need each others positive influence. Can I depend on you?
