About

I am a multiply hyphenated creature: a German-American who became a physicist-philosopher-physical geographer before becoming a reluctant retiree residing in the suburbs of Atlanta. I was an expatriate for two years in the '70s in Cuernavaca, Mexico and for five years in the '80s in Costa Rica. I repatriated to the Georgia Mountains in1987 to earn a living as a hyphenated teacher at Young Harris, retiring in 2007. I have been multiply married, as my travels played havoc with continuity in relationships. I eventually married a psychotherpist, who has tried to help me sort out the hyphens, but with little success.
