Congas’ and Djembes are my specialties. I am an Associated Imam for Masjid Sabur and the Administrative Chaplain for the New York City Department of Corrections. Congas’ and Genbe drums are my specialties. I have shared the stage with celebrities such as James Brown, Millie Jackson and others. Recent performances came with several groups on the Islamic circuit such as Native Deen, Seven8Six and Zainbika. l
