Pastor Calvert Edison (often referred to as Pastor Cal), was licensed as a minister on April 27, 2001 after receiving his call to minister as a young teenager. He is a former Youth Minister, who served kids and teenagers in ministry. Pastor Cal has also served on outreach ministries and men's prison ministries. On July 1, 2000, he married the lovely Ra'chel Edison. They are the proud parents of three boys and one girl: Forrest age 20, Caleb age 13, Calvert Edison Jr. age 8 and Jasmine age 20. They are also the godparents to Latia Marshman, SeJune Barnes, SeViona Barnes, Kiara Squire and Aaliyah Wilson. On October 3, 2003, he was ordained and installed as Pastor of Believers of Faith Ministries where he is the co-founder, along with his wife. Under their leadership, Believers of Faith Ministries has experienced growth and success. They are proud to have a powerful praise and worship ministry, the DIVAS (Daughters In Victory And Strength) women's ministry and the MAFIA (Men After Faith In Action) men's ministry. Believers of Faith Ministries is also proud to have television broadcasts in Washington, DC; Prince Georges County, Maryland and Charles County, Maryland. Pastor Ra'chel Edison is the co-founder of Believers of Faith Ministries and has been serving the Lord for years. She was ordained as Pastor on October 27,2007. Her prior work in ministry includes being a member of the Praise Team and Choir, Assistant Director for the Singles Ministry, Youth and Teen Teacher, women's Prison Ministry. She was also a part of the Outreach ministry. She is currently serving alongside her husband in the ministry to reach the lost and broken-hearted. She enjoys serving people and letting them know that they are not alone. Pastors Calvert and Ra'chel are very excited about what God is doing in their ministry, in their lives and in the lives of His people.
