About

I was born in Macon, Georgia. I went to St. Joseph's Elementary School, and graduated from Mt. de Sales High School. I am married and have 2 children: Cary and Chuck, and one stepdaughter, Beth. I have 10 grandchildren from ages 9years old -1years old. When my children were in high school I went back to college and graduated from Winthrop University in Elementary Education and later from The University of South Carolina with a Masters in Early Childhood Education. Then I received another certification from Converse College in Deaf Education. Today, and for the last 10 years, I have tought the Hearing Impaired in The Lancaster School District, and 7 years prior to that 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade.
