About

I grew up in Branford, Connecticut. I was married for 30 years and travelled alot. I spent most of my life as a studio artist in clay and am presently pursuing a Masters in mental health counseling to become an art therapist. I am an outgoing and extraverted person. Most people tell me I am easy to get along with. I have frustrated dreams of much travel which I will probably never get to do. I am reasonably organized and fiercely independent. I enjoy working with people, though, especially while sorting out a challenge. I like sportscars and driving the back roads.I need creative time in my life, and will probably always have a studio.I fell in love with scuba some years ago but have been unable to dive recently because it is so expensive. I am currently back in school for a graduate degree in mental health counseling. This has added a huge other dimension to my life. I am a big animal lover and believe our lives are greatly enhanced through the connections with them.Being an artist means risk taking is part of my makeup.Mostly I believe in the three words: just do it. I am grateful for my health, my children, my friends and for the optimistic outlook on life life that was gifted to me.
