Prophetess Judith Vargas Hayslett was born in Panama City on the beautiful island of Panama. She received her early years of education there; coming to live in the United States in 1980. She likes to share her testimony in that she was running from God when her beautician encouraged her to come to a prayer meeting. Little did she know that prophesy had been given to her father that she had a great calling on her life. After that initial prayer meeting, where Judith also received a prophesy about what God had in store for her; her Aunt began to teach her how to recognize the voice of God. In 2002, Judith was awakened by the Holy Spirit at 5 a.m.to get the house of God ready for visitors – the same church she had visited for the prayer meeting. She did not know at the time that this was her future husband’s church. Little did she know that God was setting her up for another encounter. Shortly after she prepared the church, the visiting Pastor and an Evangelist confirmed the prophecy she had heard before; in the same sanctuary. When Judith met Pastor Jeffrey Hayslett at that prayer meeting, she never thought that she would be doing full time ministry with him. Today, Prophetess Judith is speaking and bringing God’s word to His children all over the country. Her vision is to have a church that is available to the people on a 24/7 basis. Her heart is for women; those who are abused, neglected, lost and weak. She wants the church to be that beacon of hope in the community – providing refuge and meeting the needs of that community with services such as after school programs, food, shelter, and job training skills. She is seeking God to enlarge her territory – and often refers to the Prayer of Jabez!
