I was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. I graduated with distinction from Louisiana College with his Undergraduate Degree in Criminal Justice. I received my Juris Doctorate Degree from Oklahoma City University School or Law. Prior to my legal career, I worked as a licensed Firearm Instructor and Tactical Baton Trainer for law enforcement personnel. I began my legal career in the area of Corporate Litigation. After graduation, I accepted a position with the Oklahoma City law firm of Hiltgen & Brewer. I successfully defended clients such as Wal-Mart and Home Depot in trials held across the state of Oklahoma. In 2003, I shifted his focus to Criminal Defense Litigation and began work for the Oklahoma County Public Defenders Office. I was responsible for managing, negotiating and litigating thousands of felony cases ranging from D.U.I. to Murder I. Based on my extremely high success rate, I attained the position of Supervising Attorney, responsible for training other attorneys in the professional and appropriate representation of their clients. I'm licensed to practice law in Oklahoma and Texas as well as the United States Federal District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma. I currently teach college classes on Jury Selection Techniques and Forensic Firearms Evidence.
