About

All people are faith-exercisers/believers. When it comes to the origin (or lack of origin) of our universe, the purpose (or lack of purpose) of our universe and of our own existence, and what comes after this life (or does not come after this life), these are all matters of faith. These are all matters of faith because these are all things which cannot be scientifically observed or tested by anyone living today. So, whether we embrace atheism, agnosticism, or some form of theism, we are, in fact, believers. We all, to one degree or another, examine the evidence, and then make a faith decision. I have examined evidence, and I have made a choice. I have made this choice with the understanding that others label my choice as that of a simpleton and one who is mentally lazy. My choice is to put my "faith eggs" into the "God of Israel/Jesus of Nazareth basket." I said to God, "I am an unholy sinner and unable to earn a place in Heaven." Jesus replied, "I am the sinless Savior, so trust in Me, for I have already paid your admission fee." Here's my story: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_FGZabaj7A

  • "Abide with me; fast falls the eventide; The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide. When other helpers fail and earthly comforts flee, Help of the helpless, abide with me. Thou on my head in early youth didst smile; And, though rebellious, perverse, and wild. Thou hast not left me, though I've oft left Thee, On to the close, Lord, abide with me. I need Thy presence every passing hour. What but Thy grace can foil the tempter’s power? Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be? Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me. I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless; Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness. Where is death’s sting? Where, grave, thy victory? I triumph still, if Thou abide with me. Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes; Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies. When Heaven’s morning breaks, and earth’s vain shadows flee; In life, in death, Lord, abide with me.
