I was born in So Georgia in the small town of Norman Park. Moved to Phenix City at age 11. Lived there and raised my children, Jeff & Melissa. Then off to Auburn for a new adventure. Met and married Rick Dellinger. Retired Jan 1, 2000 and got involved and served as Chair of the community effort to incorporate a new city, Smiths Station, AL. After being strongly encouraged by friends, I ran for and was elected Mayor in 2001 and have been caught up in a whirlwind since. I believe in my community and love serving as its Mayor. Nothing makes my happier that spending time with both family and friends. My children and grandchildren are my life. We Love to travel especially to the mountains and beaches and are always ready to go. Wanna go? Other than that, just give me a few moments, something to read and a fire in the fireplace and I'm happy.
