Happily married for 34 years to Albert F. Porter, Jr. We have two children, Megan (33) and Jett (32). Jett is engaged. Megan has been married to Ben Abbott since June, 2009. We are lucky that they all live in our area. We enjoy lots of family activities together, particularly Mardi Gras events (with the guys riding in Endymion), LSU and Saints football, and an annual family vacation to St. John in the Virgin Islands. I enjoy being in my book club and stitching group. I retired in 2011 from working as an educational diagnostician/special education professional and Al retired in 2015 as geologist/micropaleontologist. Albert and Jett play lots of tennis and golf. We enjoy the great New Orleans culture, cuisine, and music. We are always ready to travel!
