About

Born and raised in California, Brian Nelson is truely an artist of the West. Residing on the Central Coast of California, Mr. Nelson creates striking works of art depicting historical and contemporary Western and Wildlife subjects in a variety of media including oils, watercolor, and bronze sculptures. Originally inspired by the work of American artists such as Bill Ownes, Howard Terping, Ed Borien, and Norman Rockwell, Mr. Nelson has been drawing wildlife and western scenes since childhood. After a stint in the U.S. Marine Corps an some advance studies he delved full time into the arts. His works has been exhibited thoughout the West and hangs in numerous collections, both corprate and private.
