About

I am the proud wife of Derrell Sergent, mother of Jennifer Sergent, and grandmother of Sophia Yater. I have been a working Licensed Practical Nurse for over 30 years. My passion is genealogy and ancestry research. I am the past Regent, Vice Regent, and Recording Secretary of the Nathaniel Sackett Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Monroe, Ohio. I am also a member of The Cameo Society with my daughter Jennifer. We are also members of the Ralph Dayton Chapter of the National Society of Colonial Dames XVII Century, Daughters of 1812, United Daughters of the Confederacy. I love doing research with my husband Derrell (he is a member of the SAR & Jamestowne Society), and going to functions with Derrell and/or Jennifer. I love God, my country, and my family beyond belief. If someone doesn't approve of my politics, it is your opinion and you are free to have it. That's what freedom is all about. Cruelty, bullying, bigotry and unacceptable behavior is not.
