JayDee is the owner/CEO of 1208Ent., a multi-media company based in New York City & Los Angeles, which consists of 1208Promo (specializing in Radio, Media, Internet and Brand Promotion & Marketing), Radio Broadcasting (Mixshow DJ-SupeRadio/Syndication), Music Production and 1208Models (Model Mgmt. & Consulting). A club DJ since 1980, JayDee brought the word SmoothMix to the radio vocabulary in New York City. A native of Brooklyn, NY, JayDee has been a regular resident and guest DJ at some of New York City's most popular R&B/Hip Hop nightclubs for over 20 years. From 1992-2004, BigJayDee brought his flawless, on point mixes of R&B, Hip Hop, Classics and Club/Dance music everyday to the mixshows and live broadcasts of 107.5 WBLS/New York. His first mixshow, the WBLS Thursday Afterwork Dance Party Live at the City nightclub in Times Square, was the first live weekly Club mixshow at night on New York City radio. From 2001-2003, JayDee used his extensive radio, DJ & music knowledge to become APD/MD/Air Personality at WNTY/Hartford, CT & WARL/Providence, RI. From 2004-2007, JayDee was an Air Personality/Mixshow DJ for SIRIUS Satellite Radio, on the Hot Jamz (now called The Heat) Hip Hop/R&B channel. Since mid-2007, JayDee has been mixing current and classic R&B, old school Hip Hop & Gospel hits on the SupeRadio Mixshows, which are syndicated and heard on over 20 Urban & Rhythmic Radio stations nationwide. In the recording studio, JayDee has produced and remixed Top 10 R&B/Pop hits for gold & platinum artists such as Destiny's Child ("Bootylicious"), TLC ("Unpretty"), Keith Sweat ("I Want Her", "Make It Last Forever" and "Don't Stop Your Love"-JayDee's first major label projects-), Lionel Richie, Maxwell, the late Gerald Levert, Syleena Johnson, Raphael Saadiq & Lucy Pearl, Heather Headley and many others.
