My most relevant employers were Krudy Gyula Grammar School, Nyiregyhaza and Chicago Public Schools overseas in North-America. After successfully applying for a job in the United States, Chicago, I have been working and living in the USA for the past two years. There I was basically doing the same thing as at home – teaching - but in two American High Schools, within the Chicago Public Schools organization. Professional Experience (details) 2009-2011 Employer: Chicago Pubilc Schools Position: Mathematics teacher I got the opportunity to work in the USA after passing a professional English language test. At Chicago Public Schools I had a chance to work in two, quite different profile public schools in the city of Chicago. I was teaching Algebra, Geometry, co-teaching, organizing, administration in these schools. During my US stay I could improve my English knowledge and use a high level of classroom technology and have an insight to the everyday life of a distant society. 1989-2009 Employer: Krudy Gyula Grammar School Position: Mathematics teacher and English teacher In Krudy Gyula Grammar School I was teaching Mathematics and English language. I successfully prepared the students for the Matura Exams and state language exams year by year and some of my students also had nice results at different county and national competitions mainly at English language. However, I was also involved in other activities, such as being a Homeroom Teacher with all the organizing and administration work it demands. For 6 years, I was assigned from the stuff's side to help the Students' Self-governing community in its operations, too. I was organizing and executing student-exchange programs with a German and a Danish high school for years. This task had mainly involved the operative duties such a program required: managing the relationship with the partner schools, making the arrangements needed for our trip abroad, organizing programs for the exchange students during their visit in Hungary. For two years I was assigned to help the Students' Hiking Team which won two national competitions during that time. From 1994 on, I was corrective teacher at Mathematics Matura Exam (GCE), both advanced and ordinary level. In these years I was corrective and interrogator teacher also at English Language Matura Exam (GCE). 1989-2003 Employer: Juranyi TIT Centrum Position: English teacher At Juranyi TIT Centrum I was teaching English Language courses from elementary to advanced level. The students were from different age-groups, from the age of 15 up to 60. 1988-1989 Employer: Sipkay Barna Commercial and Trade Catering Secondary School Position: Mathematics teacher and English teacher Besides teaching Mathematics and English as primary activity, I was also preparing students for national competitions and state language exams in this Secondary School.
