About

Served in the Army from 1980 to 1984 at Fort Lewis, Washington and Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. I was Infantry until the last 8 months in which I was moved to the NBC NCO (chemical). I made it to E-5, sergeant. During my time in the Army, I have done jungle training in Panama, Cold weather training in upstate New York and Participated in Team Spirit '84 in Korea. My company (Bravo 1/35th 9th div) was the first infanty company to go to Japan since the occupation after WW2. This was mostly a dog and pony show with our allies that was met with lot's of protesters. I was stationed in Schofield Barracks in Oahu, Hawaii for a year and a half. Now that was fun. I became a certified sport scuba diver and raced a dirt track car for a few months at the end of the season. Married in 1988, my wife and I had three girls together and adopted another girl and two boys (we had to out source to get the boys!)
