I'm back home again in "Almost Heaven" West (By God) Virginia and loving it! Shepherdstown is a small college town on the banks of the Potomac River in the eastern panhandle of WV and since it is only about 60 miles from the DC area it has become a bedroom community for people that work in the metropolitan Washington area. I was born and raised here and am a graduate of Shepherd U. I love living in a college town and I attend ALL of Shepherd's home footbal games as well as many of their basketball and baseball games.
