My family is very important to me and they bring me a great deal of joy and pride. The 26 years that my husband and I have been married, have been full of laughter, tears and challenges...I love a good challenge though. God has blessed me in so many ways that I could never have imagined and believe that He brings people to my life for a reason and that everything happens for a reason. I thank Him for his unending grace, mercy and love for me; a sinner. I worked with the elderly in a Jewish community and love seeing them and hearing their words of wisdom. They are the Jewish grandparents I never had. It certainly doesn't take much to make an elderly person, or any person for that matter, smile when you give them the respect and attention that they need, want and deserve. They make me feel loved and appreciated and that brings me back to them everyday. I also love to volunteer at my church, St. Priscilla, and at my daughter's school. I am a Girl Scout Leader and involved with the many activities. I like to make children smile and especially enjoy their laughter. I like to create things with my hands, arts and crafts and baking too. I like puzzles and word puzzles-no Sudoku thank you very much. I like to read when I get the chance and also enjoy the outdoors-hiking, bike-riding and especially swimming. I dream of doing some traveling in the future...I already have my passport.
