We all love the Stars that shine at night. Shouldn't we also love the Stars here on Earth. Is there not someone who shines in your life. Let them know you care. Born on August 26, 1942 in Oak Park, Illinois. I was the second gift from God to my mother and father. I had an older sister named Carol Ann Gay and a younger sister named Darlene Macie Gay. At age 5, I had asthma so bad the doctors told my parents they had to move me to a dry climit or I would die. Our family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where I was able to out grow asthma. At age 16 we moved to Prairie Villege, Kansas, where I grew up. At some time in my life I realized that my mother and father gave unto me the whole world to choose and do whatever I wanted to do or become whatever I wanted to be. They knew what ever I became was a gift to the whole world and to God. My parents prayed for an angel to watch over me. I asked my father, how will I know when I have found the true love of my life? He said, "You will hear church bells." My angel, Nancy Louis Hinchman became my wife on my Birthday August 26, 1967 at Westport Presbyterian Church. Other highlights of my life was providing Air to Ground Communications, Instrumentation, Satellite and Voice Communications for the Apollo Space Programs with (NASA) National Aeronautics and Space Administration and ITT-Federal Electric Corporation from aboard the USNS Ship Vanguard, stationed between Port Canaveral, Florida and the Bermuda Islands. Apollo 7 Oct. 11, 1968 First Manned Earth orbit. 10.8 days First live national TV of manned space flight. Apollo 8 Dec. 21, 1968 First manned lunar orbital mission. 6.3 days First manned Saturn V Launch. Apollo 9 Mar. 03, 1969 Earth orbit mission. 10.1 days. First manned flight of lunar modual with docking while in Earth orbit. Apollo 10 May 18, 1969 First lunar orbit flight of complete spacecraft in lunar landing mission. Apollo 11 July 16, 1969 Landing men on the moon and returning them safely to Earth.
