About

Hello, my name is Christina Ingram, a graduate from Columbia College Chicago, with a Bachelors of Arts degree. As a native of Chicago, I am choosing to earn a graduate degree from a neighboring college or university. Currently, I am twenty-six years of age and my goal is to become a design artist. This is what I have always wanted to become, it is my passion. I chose art because of my love for creativity, and when I was a child I always drew artistic designs. My family would say that I am an artist, because as a youth I had a talent for art, and I appreciate hands on things such as drawing, painting and photography. I would build things, make jewelry, color, create collages, keep a journal with things in it, collect art materials, create music on my music generator, and create art while listening to music. I also like to take pictures as well, and collect photographs and I would take black and white old photos because I like looking at them. I wanted to focus on black and white photos and the history because I thought this would be interesting. Then I would look through my collection of albums because this would help me cope with the loss of people in my family. When I took some classes at Columbia College I never knew what 3D Design and 2D Design was because I never took the classes. When I took the classes I thought it was great because I learn a lot from these classes. I like to work with computers as well because I like Photoshop, adobe illustrator, and more because I was good at this. I like Art because it provides a sort of therapy for me and it helps me cope with certain situations. In high school I would take up classes and I would sign up for Gallery 37 because I knew this was something I would be interested in. Gallery 37 is a Center for the Arts, which provides a venue for youth, families and adults to participate in several innovative arts programs. Gallery 37 includes After School Matters and the Chicago Public Schools’ Advanced Arts Education Program. Last I like to keep my attendance up and my goal is to also bring my GPA up and now I want to attend graduate school because I want to get my master in interdisciplinary of arts. I'm also Brave and a Hard working person that is also loving good at cleaning strong always kept busy tec savy quick fast pace kind caring Love to have fun a Art Major at Columbia College who likes to dance, draw, getting a BA and a Masters in The Arts
