Spent thirty-seven years with the NBA's Phoenix Suns in various public relations and community relations positions, including 17 years as executive director of Phoenix Suns Charities. Co-authored the Suns' 25th Anniversary book (1992) and in 2011, released another Suns book, "Notes from the WACKO! File... and Tales from the Madhouse on McDowell." The sequel, "2 WACKO! Echoes from the Purple Palace" was published 2013. Both books are available through Amazon with all proceeds going to local charities. After two years as Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central AZ, As of July 15th, 2012 I stepped away from that position to join the BBBS board and help from there. I have not yet decided what to call my current status. I just can't bring myself to utter the "R" word. Perhaps I can choose from: in limbo, between appointments, consultant, observer, bon vivant, traveler, gentleman rancher, swashbuckler, writer, next step preparer, or maybe life adventurer.
