I love life and all that it brings me. That includes the good and the challenging. I try and keep the faith that in all things there is good we sometimes just have to look a bit deeper than what's easy to see with the first glance. Well, let me see...... First let me say.....I have no idea how I got started with this facebook thing other than I came home from the gym with my daughter and during lunch......I must have been 'over exercised and brain dead' so when she started"facebooking" while I fixed lunch.....I know have something else to keep track of as if my work and personal emails are not enough!!! Patti and facebook, hmmmm, I am not too sure how that sounds? Ok.....I moved to Helena about 4 years ago. I love it here other than I miss my oldest son Nicholas who is still living in the Flathead. But my daughter is living here in Helena with her husband Dean, which makes it nice, at least for me. She may feel a bit different however. My younger son Jonathan is living in Trout Creek-Thompson Falls area with his wife Nastastia and basset hound. I am working for the state and will until retirement hits me, which I figure will be around age 70. oh well....things could be worse. When I am not working, which is not often, I spend a good deal of time updating an old house I bought a couple of years ago. This summer I planted a garden for the first time in years! I was pretty proud of it and had fun watching it produce some wonderful veggies! I have also put in a fish pond in my back yard....i should say my son Jonathan put a fish pond in my back yard. Hey, his a fisheries biologist! What more can I say. Besides it beats the heck out of a fish tank in the house! Helena is great for hiking and doing out door activities since the snow is much less than what I am use to in the Flathead. That combined with the wonderful amount of sun that shines during all times of the year....makes the days much brighter in many ways! So....it's just me and the dog, DaisyMay, which comes with a great deal of work as well as great companionship for those weekend and evening hikes. That covers it....pretty boring but I am happy with the simple life now.
