About

Baseball............"Why? Who do we throw back and forth day after day? Hitting for hours at a time just to fix a little kink in your swing? Late nights under the lights then early mornings cooking in the sun. Getting taken out at second on a double play then getting up like nothing is wrong when there is a hole in your legs from the opponents spike, getting drilled by a 90 mph fast ball in the middle of your back. We play through it all. Why? Because we live off our adrenaline, because the game frees the spirit, because the party after in the dugout and in the club house is fine, because your invincible once you step between those lines, because one hit or a diving play can make you smile all night. Hitting a bomb or striking out the side to win the game. The roar of the crowd, the cleats digging into the dirt, and the sound of a ball off a bat is a rhythm to live by, because it’s possible to play hard enough to leave all your worries behind. Sweat is the cologne of our accomplishment. Why? Why would someone push themselves so hard? If it’s not for the money, it's not for the girls, and it's not for the fame. We do it for the love of the game.. Just baseball "dont take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive"
