About

I love my family, firends, dogs, cat church family, work, art, theater (not in any order), but above all my Lord and Savior. I think it is the way we live our lives that expresses our own selves as a Living Bible. I have lived enough life to know that the hole in the heart can only be filled by an abiding relationship with Jesus. But I am careful about my faith because I worked with a very judgemental, self-righteous person who almost turned me from Him. Our experiences and lives are fragile and must be handled with great thought, care, acceptance, love, and prayer. Our kindness and compassion is the way we teach not our judgements. closed minds, self-righteousness, and lectures. Truth is found on the paths of life by great patience, failures, and times that wisdom penetrates to our souls. I have failed, fallen, and lost but in these I have lived, learned, found friends, and Him. I sat back most of my life waiting to get out of the boat but am amzed at the profound way Life lets us walk on the waves even through the storms of failures, heart-ache and pain. well, this is getting to heavy. LIVE, celebrate, find, discover, be free, venture fourth, and never give up.

  • ""The man who fights for his ideals is the man who is alive." Cervantes "Loyalty to petrified opinion never broke a chain or freed a human soul." Mark Twain “At all times, day by day, we have to continue fighting for freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and freedom from want — for these are things that must be gained in peace as well as in war.” Eleanor Roosevelt "There is no best in a world of individuals." Hugh Prather “A human being is a part of the whole, called by us the 'universe', a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separate from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security.” Albert Einstein “Reverence for life ... does not allow the scholar to live for his science alone, even if he is very useful ... the artist to exist only for his art, even if he gives inspiration to many.... It refuses to let the business man imagine that he fulfills all legitimate demands in the course of his business activities. It demands from all that they should sacrifice a portion of their own lives for others.” Albert Schweitzer “The tragedy of life is what dies inside a man while he lives.” Albert Schweitzer “Love is the beauty of the soul" Saint Augustine of Hippo -"
