I'm happy to say that I had my first visit to a Clinical Psychologist today (7-1-13), and the session went extremely well. This is in preparation for eventually changing my gender officially to the one in which I currently live. I'm not looking forward to the mountain of paperwork and legalese involved, but I'm a bit closer to the day when I can hold my head high and be who I really am. Today, 10/1/2013, I had a court appearance to change my name legally to Jill Rodriquez Ambrose. Today, 10/22/13, is the day. I went to the BMV today and got my new driver license with my picture, my name and an "F" (for Female) at the bottom. I always thought getting an F was bad, but in this case, I'm ecstatic. (Dec 2013) I'm now a member of the 'Welcoming Committee' at church. Who would have figured. (Jan 2014) I'm now a member of the National Association of Professional Women. I've been recognized as a VIP Member and "Woman of the Year for 2014-15". (April 2014) Received my new Passport on the 25th. Now I'm ready to travel the world.
