I started a private law practice in Rosenberg, Texas, in 1974; became an Assistant Fort Bend County D.A. in 1977; and I have been a trial judge since April 1981, presiding over every imaginable type of civil and criminal cases, including Death Penalty cases. Our daughter, Courtney, is an attorney in Houston and married Buck Baker in Houston on January 24, 2015. Our son, Thomas R. Culver, IV, is a licensed Funeral Director with his mother at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, Inc. in Rosenberg, Texas, and is the Funeral Director in Charge. Tommy is married to Kristen Hanranhan. In April 2012, they had their first child, Thomas R. Culver, V - our first grandchild and a BEAUTIFUL little boy. We are fortunate they all live close to us.
