My family was on the mission field in the Central African Republic. We were in France for 10 months for language study, then C.A.R. for 3 years, back home for a year, then back to C.A.R. for 3 more years before returning home for good. I was 9 when we reached France in 1978, and 16 when we returned home for good in 1985. After I graduated from Hocking College in 1991, I decided to go back to C.A.R. on a short-term missions trip, which I did in 1992 for 7 weeks. I hope to one day return there to study wildlife.
