Being married to John Anderson who is a musician, magician, balloon artist, clown and teacher has made my life very interesting! There's never a dull moment! I have been an educator since the fall of 1971. I taught 17 years in Alabama before moving to Florida where I continued my career in education. I holds a master's degree in elementary education and am also certified in ESOL, Elementary Education and Reading. I worked as an Elementary Literacy Coach for 9 years before going back into the classroom to work with students again. I have been recognized as a literacy expert and have been invited to speak on literacy at symposiums in China, England, and Africa. I enjoy singing on the praise team at my church. John and I have 3 children, Joel, Bevan, and Jonna. We also has two grandsons, Zachary age 18 and Nathan who is 2 years old. This December we will celebrate the birth of another grandson! God has been so good to us!
