About

Mission: Helping people resolve conflict and reach agreement by mediation as a neutral facilatator when the parties would like to preserve the relationship to the greatest extent possible. Whether you’re in a troubled marriage, having issues within a blended family, or have differences with siblings in the care of an elderly parent, relationships can get messy. Sometimes small disagreements explode into huge arguments, everyone digs in their heels and start thinking about parting ways. Too often, that’s when families shatter, and the tearful calls to lawyers begin. Sharon Dolak specializes in dispute resolution, a type of mediation which facilitates discussions between people at that breaking point in their relationships with the purpose of finding solutions and avoiding the expense, time and emotional pain of severing the relationship. Her non-adversarial, facilitative approach helps those in conflict work through issues and find peace again. Through positive and respectful dialogue, listening and transparency in all communications, Sharon helps people to see and understand the other person’s perspective of the conflict. It is then that dialogue can begin towards agreeing on a resolution.
