I worked 2 years in the Boeing Co. Engineering Library, 11 years at Friends University, 6 years as Director of Finney County Public Library in Garden City, KS, and have been working at McConnell Air Force Base Library for the last 15 years. I graduated with a BA, had three children and was a stay at home mom. Then, when my husband got laid off in the Aerospace Industry, I returned to college for my MLS. We moved from California, back to Kansas (our home) and I began working full time. I love being a librarian and cannot imagine doing anything else. It has not made me rich, but has brought satisfaction to my life.
