Cochlear Implant user since 23 November 2004 Gregory York was born in Bloomington, Indiana. I was born with a profound hearing loss, but later on my hearing deteriorated, I was considered to be deaf, then I was qualified for Cochlear Implant. I grew up in Southwestern Indiana from birth to 1996. In 1996, I went to college in Rochester, New York. I left from that college in 2001 because of personal reasons. Did not graduate from there. In November 23, 2004, I went to Indianapolis for Cochlear Implant surgery (for more info - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cochlear_implant) which allow me to hear everything. I am happy person since surgery. I am still having problem understand the people because I grew up as deaf person for long time. I live near Ocala, Florida which is 90 minutes NW far from Orlando. :) I am a democrat. I believe in free speech, equal rights for all, and sexual and reproductive choice without governmental or organizational intrusion. I am fan of Cady McClain who was in "All My Children" and "As The World Turns".
