We must understand, that, like it or not, we are all interconnected beyond what we can ascertain by our limited natural senses. To remain solely concerned with our own needs and desires is counterintuitive. Those who seem to be the least important in our everyday lives, may be instrumental in changing our lives. Our selfish concerns may tear at the very security we wish to maintain.
