Born in Ottawa, Canada. Lived in Austin, Texas since I was nine. Went to Austin High School and then Southwest Texas State for 1 year. Went to Tobe-Coburn School for Fashion Careers in New York City. Accepted at Neiman-Marcus, Dallas for their buyer training program. Married in 1969, went overseas to Sasebo, Japan for 2 years while husband was in the Navy. Owned 2 retail stores from 1972-1980 in Highland Mall, Purse Strings and More Things. Divorced in 1981 and worked for Texas Gas Transport, Henry S. Miller/Grubb & Ellis, Capital Commercial Consultants, and Title Agency/Alamo Title. In 1995 I was a sales rep for Margo's Collectibles and then Rhoda Katz until 1998 when I opened Elle Boutique in Westlake. After 10 1/2 years I closed my busines in May 2009. I have been married to Allan Nutt, an architect in Austin, since 1997. I have a son by a previous marriage, Joey Thompson. Joey is married to Rebecca and they have a daughter born November 2008 named Peyton Aubry. I also have 2 stepsons. Stephen Nutt who is maried to Kristy Manas, and Ryan Nutt, whose married to Misty, and they have a daughter born in February 2009 named Emma and a son named Jeremy born January 2012. Love being a grandmother. I now do business development for Harvey-Daco Promotional Products and am a Sales Consultant for Etcetera clothing.
