God is the head of my life. Music is my passion. I am an active member in good standing of F&AAYM PHO Widow's Son Lodge #4, Douglasville, Ga. Born in the mountains of Tennessee, in the city of Knoxville. I was blessed to be born to the ultimate loving Mother (Elizabeth) and in a loving family, two sister (Veronica and Carletta) and a brother (Samuel). Being raised in the church has gaven me deep roots in my religion and music. I began singing at a very young age, the childrens choir of Roseberry City Baptist Church. I sung throughout my elementary school years at Sam E. Hill and Beaumont. During junior high was when my solo training and experience began at Bearsley and Tyson. My vocal teachers (Ms Lovelace and Ms Roberts) began to focus and develop my solo performance, 8th grade thru 12th grade. From 1978 thru 1979, while in the 12th grade, I toured with varies local music recording artists, one was Clifford Curry, as the lead singer for their opening band, in the college circuit. I declined a partial scholarship, to University of Tennessee Memphis, for active service in the U.S. Army. During my military duty, I competed in talent contest, placing third in the talent contest held in NC and performed in the National Finals held in Baton Rouge, La. I also performed as a lead singer with the U.S. Army USO Tour. After completing my military service in 1992, I return to my church roots and began to sing Songs of Zion in both the Adult and Male Choirs of Shy Temple CME in Atlanta, Ga. I have performed as a wedding singer on numerous occasions, including a duet performance for the wedding of the 6th district Bishop. I'm presently working with my brother, Samuel, to write gospel music. May the words of my mouth and the mediatation of my heart be exceptable in thy sight, Oh Lord.
