I am the oldest of four children, grew up in a christen home, Became a christen at age 14, played the piano in church from age 14-18. very selective ,played no music that had more than one sharp. sang specials in church with my sister and sometimes brothers. Graduated from Bucheye High School in 193 and middletown School of Nursing in 1959. Started work at Berea College Hospital, Met Sam Who was a student at Berea College. We got married Jan26, 1964 in Danforth Chapel on Campus. was married by a Minister from Scotland. Sam and I have two children, two grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. We moved to Lexington and eventual become active in Southern Hieghts BaptistChurch. Both our parents are deceased. I first work at Berea Collegehospital, then UKMedical Center finally the last 25 years of my work years were at Central Kentucky Vo-Tech teaching in the practical Nurs Program. Retired in 1996, WAs a substute teachr for Fayete County for three years after m retirement. Thats me in a nutshell. I enjoy traveling when I have the time.
