Favorite saying

  • "When I went to the concert yesterday evening, I was duded up in my finest tie-die outfit. People see me in such rags, and they think, “This guy is the pothead of all potheads!” While I was sitting by an eempty spot during the Matchbox 20 hurricane, two hot chicks came over and sat by me and, THEY GOT ME STONED! YOWSA! But, the thing is, I am not all that much of a stoner. My mom was a math major with a BA in math, and my dad was a naval engineer, “US Naval Officer”. My mom started WW II working at Bremerton naval base, calculating ship loads, gaussing ships, and other mathematical chicanery to get ships to operate properly. After apprenticeship in various ship operations, my Dad ended up the war as a chief engineer on a heavy battle cruiser, the USS Alaska gunboat. After the war, my folks then had active political-technical careers. I graduated college first with an English degree, then promptly went back for a degree in civil engineering. I worked the first half of my career in civil engineering and civic planning. Then, I had been conquered by the computer programming bug, and ended things up as a programmer analyst. I find drugs as a real disconnect from my daily practical mind, and I do not recommend them to ANYONE. But, when it is just girls and music, WHAT THE HELL!"
