After raising two children my husband and I took to the road and traveled this country in our RV from East to West and North to South. Criscrossing this country and Canada several times allowed us to visit and explore so many places and environments. When time came to stop traveling we settled here in Oak Harbor, on Whidbey Island. Whidbey Island is about 70 miles northwest of Seattle in Puget sound. We enjoy moderate temperatures, and much less rain than Seattle. Our farmers need to irrigate crops in the summer. I am a realtor, broker and get to share my enthusiasm and knowledge of the area with my clients, particularly those new to the island.
