Revolutionizing retail through innovative concepts and exceptional customer service. I strongly believe that the customer experience is the driving factor for retail success. Staying true to the story, staying true to the brand. Starting back at the age of 16, I began to immerse myself in the world of entrepreneurship. After starting my small clothing brand, Pick Pocket, I learned the ropes of anyone who starts a small brand out of a garage. Screen printing, embroidery and long-messy-laborious days were my physical challenges and learning how to promote, style and build an online presence was my main digital challenge. After hurdling these challenges, I became better at my craft. I turned those long-messy-laborious days into shorter and more efficient days. By the time I turned 18, I had a few years of learning the process under my belt and needed a new challenge to undertake. This leads me to Portland Gear. In my current position as Store Manager I surround myself with challenges. Whether its going the extra mile for a customer who is having a rough go, or figuring out the best way to merchandise products. Challenges like this and others push me to build a product and experience that goes way past a customers expectations.
